Nissan pledge on Sunderland plant after ‘positive’ Brexit deal

Nissan has committed its long-term future to its Sunderland car-making plant and has said the Brexit trade deal put the UK at an advantage.

The car maker had warned that failure to get a deal would jeopardise thousands of jobs at Britain’s largest car factory.
