No Scottish independence without SNP, says leader Swinney at start of election campaign

In Edinburgh where Scotland’s First Minister John Swinney was setting out the SNP’s priorities for Government earlier today, before Rishi Sunak called a general election for July.

Now Scotland’s largest party is facing a rejuvenated Labour party in a battle for control of the country.
