4mNo sign of government nature plan – can we wait?
The Conservatives made a campaign promise to leave Britain’s nature in a better state than they found it. A government consultation on a “25-year plan for Nature” was expected last summer, then postponed till autumn. Defra then hinted it would be published in spring. But as the daffodils come into bloom it’s still not materialised.
