Northern Ireland ambulance service warns it’s struggling to cope

Northern Ireland is facing a health crisis, too, with the highest daily number of deaths since the pandemic began, prompting a new appeal from medical chiefs for people to stay at home.

The ambulance service says it’s struggling to cope, warning that calls will be prioritised and patients could face delays.
