Novichok attack: Russia denounces ‘draconian’ new US sanctions

President Trump might be on holiday, but his State Department is not. The administration has imposed fresh sanctions on Russia in retaliation for the poisoning of former Russian double agent Sergei Skripal and his daughter in Salisbury in March. Russia has denounced the sanctions which, among other t hings, limit the sale of electronic components that can be used in military hardware.
