Officers on trial for shooting suspects will get anonymity after Chris Kaba verdict

Two days after Met officer Martyn Blake was cleared of murdering Chris Kaba, the Home Secretary has announced a raft of measures aimed at restoring accountability and trust in the police.

It includes guaranteeing anonymity to firearms officers accused of crimes during the course of their work up to the point of conviction.
