Olivia Newton-John dies aged 73

She was the singing star who found her feet on Australian talent shows and went on to world fame as goody-two-shoes Sandra Dee in ‘Grease’.

Olivia Newton-John was the darling from down under whose huge popularity in Hollywood meant that warm tributes have been pouring in from across the showbiz world.

But she was actually born in Cambridge and had fascinatingly successful close relatives from the world of science and spying.
