Every Saturday more than 800 locations across the country play host to parkruns – involving hundreds of thousands of people prepared to jog five kilometres around their local park, whatever the weather.
But in one corner of Northamptonshire – in common with twenty other sites across England and Wales – the runners are watched over not just by volunteers, but by guards and dogs.
Our Communities Editor Darshna Soni joined the inmates participating in a parkrun at His Majesty’s Pleasure.
