One million people flee Ukraine – as UN warns number of refugees could quadruple

So far the exodus from Ukraine has seen a vast tide of humanity heading west.

The UN estimates more than a million people have already crossed into neighbouring countries.

And at the crossing points, aid agencies are frantically trying to get food and medicines heading in the other direction.
