OpenAI: Majority of employees threaten to resign unless former chief executive Sam Altman reinstated

Staff at OpenAI – the company behind the artificial intelligence software ChatGPT – have threatened to resign en masse unless former boss Sam Altman is reinstated.

The letter, signed by 500 employees, claims the decision put all the company’s groundbreaking work in jeopardy. But Mr Altman has already accepted another job.
