The Home Secretary Suella Braverman has requested “urgent advice” on banning American Bully XL dogs, which she described as a “clear and lethal danger”.

It follows a shocking incident in Birmingham over the weekend, in which an 11-year-old girl was one of three people bitten by a dog.
