Oxford AstraZeneca vaccine arrives in UK hospitals

The first batches of the Oxford University AstraZeneca vaccine have begun arriving at hospitals – with more than half a million doses available from Monday.

GPs are calling for the Government to open up vaccination centres around the clock and plough in extra resources – in order to have any chance of reaching the target of two million jabs a week.
