Palestinian president expects Israel will go into Rafah ‘in coming days’

Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas says he believes Israel will go into Rafah in the next few days. He told a conference in Saudi Arabia, an Israeli assault on Gaza’s southernmost city could force much of the population to flee the territory, and the only country that can stop it is the US.
