A group of parents have been at the High Court today, in an attempt to challenge what they call cuts in services for their children with disabilities.
They’ve taken a case against Surrey County Council, which is trying to save £21 million from the special educational needs budget, claiming it’s unlawful because the council failed to consult affected families.
The council say their main focus is making sure children get the support they need. But there are other similar cases going on around the country.
