Passports to become blue again after Brexit

It might take four hours to get through customs, but at least our passports will be blue. As blue as your mood. So say some of the jokes making the rounds on social media, after the government announced the British passport would return to its old dark blue cover when Britain leaves the EU.

Is this Brexit’s first solid achievement? Or an old-fashioned nostalgia for something that isn’t actually what it seems?
