We spoke to Dr Katie Doores, from King’s College London, who is the lead author of a new report on coronavirus antibodies and how long any kind of immunity might last.

The research suggests that people who have recovered may only be immune for a few months.

We began by asking her if the virus would become endemic – and whether we would ever be rid of it.
