Phone hacking trial: Royal biographer Omid Scobie denies having ‘vested interest’ in helping Prince Harry

The author of a biography on the Duke and Duchess of Sussex has denied having a “vested interest” in helping Prince Harry.

Omid Scobie was giving evidence as a witness in a trial being brought by the Duke and others against Mirror Group Newspapers – accusing them of obtaining information through phone hacking and other illegal means.

MGN is contesting the case at the High Court.
