PM says he regrets his appointment of Gavin Williamson ended in resignation

Rishi Sunak has said he regrets his appointment of Sir Gavin Williamson has ended in resignation – admitting that his behaviour had been “unacceptable.”

But at Prime Minister’s Questions Labour leader Sir Keir Starmer branded Mr Sunak as “weak”, accusing him of failing “to stand up to a run-of-the-mill bully”.
