PM to visit Ukraine and hold talks with Putin

Boris Johnson is set to visit Ukraine next week and hold talks with Vladimir Putin by phone as part of diplomatic efforts to deter Russian aggression.

The United States has warned that a Russian attempt to invade Ukraine would be “horrific” and could result in significant casualties.

On the front line of that very imminent threat is Mariupol, just a few miles from the Russian border.
