PM urged to return £10m from donor he now says made racist comments

Rishi Sunak spent Prime Minister’s Question Time fending off demands to pay back the ten million pound donation the businessman Frank Hester gave the Conservatives.

Last night Downing Street agreed that Mr Hester’s reported remarks about Diane Abbott were racist.  But Mr Sunak said that his remorse meant he should be forgiven. Labour Leader Sir Keir Starmer said that showed that Rishi Sunak lacked courage and was unable to lead.
