Poland looks set for a major political shift – one that’s good news for Brussels. Partial results and exit polls from Sunday’s election show the ruling nationalists winning the most seats but losing their majority.
That puts the liberal Civic Coalition grouping, led by former European Council President Donald Tusk – on course to form the next government.
He’s vowed to mend ties with the EU, after years of clashes over migrants, LGBT rights and the rule of law.
