Police arrest hundreds during Moscow protests

In Russia police are thought to have arrested over 630 demonstrators who were protesting about the exclusion of some opposition candidates from the election to Moscow city council due in September. The protest went ahead despite the jailing earlier this week of a senior opposition leader who helped organise it.
