Police chief apologises to Team GB athlete after stop and search

The Metropolitan Police Commissioner has apologised to the Team GB athlete Bianca Williams, who was handcuffed during a stop and search.

Dame Cressida Dick told a House of Commons committee that officers had visited Ms Williams to apologise and that she wanted to apologise again for the distress caused.

The Met will also be reviewing its use of handcuffing.
