Police chiefs to apologise for racism – and commit to being ‘institutionally anti-racist’

For the first time ever, all the police chiefs in England and Wales have signed up to an action plan on race – which is due to be published next week.

We speak to Victor Olisa – a retired Chief Superintendent who served as Head of Diversity with the Metropolitan Police – and begin by asking him whether this is a welcome move or won’t go far enough.
