News Correspondent

A 13-year-old boy has been taken to hospital with stab wounds after fighting broke out this afternoon near a chip shop in Glasgow.

The latest incident involving a teenage victim of knife crime came as police across England and Wales relaunched Operation Sceptre, which aims to tackle the rise in stabbings.

Meanwhile, two people – a 16-year-old boy and a 20-year-old man – have appeared in court charged with the murder of girl scout Jodie Chesney, who was killed in an east London park 10 days ago.
