Politicians, activists and campaigners to gather in Brazil for talks on protecting the Amazon

Political leaders are joining thousands of activists and environmental campaigners in the Brazilian Amazon – for talks on protecting the world’s biggest rainforest.

The two day summit in Belem begins tomorrow, part of the new green agenda which Brazil’s new president is driving forward – in complete contrast to his predecessor.
