Portraits in the sand: artwork honours The Fallen on Britain’s beaches

On beaches throughout the British Isles people have come together to mark the centenary of the Armistice – sculpted portraits of fallen WW1 soldiers were created as part of the ‘Pages of the Sea’ memorial.
