Post Office handling of compensation criticised as ‘medieval’ by Horizon Compensation Advisory Board

They’re supposed to be offering full and fair compensation to thousands of victims whose lives were turned upside down.

But the Post Office has been accused of medieval behaviour towards subpostmasters caught up in the Horizon scandal – leaving already vulnerable people feeling even more intimidated and scared.

And tonight the Solicitors Regulation Authority has weighed in too – urging the Post Office to use the correct legal wording in letters offering victims compensation.
