Post Office needs ‘cultural change’ after Horizon scandal, says business secretary

The business secretary Jonathan Reynolds has called for a change of culture at the Post Office, as he gave evidence to the inquiry into the Horizon scandal.

He said it had driven subpostmasters to lose all faith in the justice system.

The inquiry also heard from the Conservative leader Kemi Badenoch – who said it was “extremely disappointing” that it took an ITV drama for the compensation payments to victims to be speeded up.
