Prime Minister Starmer lays out Labour’s plan for UK at conference

“New homes, new towns, new hospitals, roads and schools,” Sir Keir Starmer painted a picture of a shiny future with cranes and pylons on the horizon.

But he also warned both party members here in Liverpool, and the country who swept him to power a few months ago that the work of change would be hard, with tough and unpopular decisions on spending, taxation and rebuilding Britain.
