Priti Patel: police must raise the bar in tackling violence against women and girls

Home Secretary Priti Patel has said that police need to “raise the bar” when it comes to dealing with violent crimes against women.

She said lesser offences like harassment, should be taken seriously too after it emerged that Ms Everard’s killer had been accused of indecent exposure three times.
