Pro-choice protesters in US hold national day of action

Pro-choice demonstrators have held a National Day of Action across America to protest against the growing number of States which are passing laws to restrict women’s access to abortion clinics.

The most severe, in Alabama, bans terminations in all circumstances, including rape and incest.

That challenges the decision which granted American women the right to choose – the Supreme Court’s Roe v Wade in 1973.
