Pubs and cafes with outside tables allowed to reopen in Scotland

In Scotland, First Minister Nicola Sturgeon has urged the public to behave responsibly as pubs and cafes were allowed to have customers outside for the first time – as the country continues its tentative opening up.

But with tourism worth billions of pounds to the Scottish economy – and uncertainty over when international travellers will be able to return without quarantining.

Our Scotland Correspondent Ciaran Jenkins has been speaking to businesses desperate to get up and running again.
