Record number of Scottish students win university places despite slight fall in Highers passes

In Scotland, pass rates in Highers and Advanced Highers have slipped since last year, but they’re still far above pre-pandemic levels, as Scotland’s education secretary praised students for achieving such strong results “under extraordinary circumstances”.
