Red alert across Europe and much of the world as heatwave fuels wildfires

Large swathes of southern and eastern Europe have been placed on red alert as rising temperatures fuel wildfires.

The World Meteorological Organisation is warning of an increased risk of deaths from the extreme weather gripping Europe, Asia and the United States. And the heatwave is only set to intensify in the coming days.
