Renewable energy companies to face ‘windfall tax’

When it comes to energy, the government also appears to have delivered another U-turn – this time on a windfall tax on renewable energy companies. Revenues from nuclear power plants and solar and wind farms could be capped under a new government plan. But the government insists this does not count as a windfall tax.
