Reports of asylum seeker detentions ahead of flights to Rwanda

There are signs that asylum seekers may be already being detained in preparation for summer deportation flights to Rwanda.

The government’s controversial Rwanda Act became law last Thursday and Rishi Sunak said at the weekend that people would start being processed immediately ahead of being sent on one-way flights to the east African country.
