Rishi Sunak appoints new ethics adviser

Rishi Sunak has appointed a new independent ethics adviser to oversee ministers interests.

Sir Laurie Magnus said he would carry out the role with “fairness and integrity” while maintaining the confidence of Parliament and the public.
