Rishi Sunak orders review of low traffic neighbourhoods

They’ve spent tens of millions of pounds promoting schemes to limit traffic in town and city centres. But now the government is flying the flag for motorists – announcing a review into ‘low traffic neighbourhood’ policies.

Labour branded it pure hypocrisy – while local councils said they were best placed to make decisions about their communities.
