Rishi Sunak promises more health staff for the NHS but will it cut waiting lists?

Rishi Sunak has revealed his 2.4 billion pound plan to fix the NHS, with what the government has described as the NHS’s biggest ever recruitment drive.

He’s promised hundreds of thousands more doctors, nurses and other health staff in England over the next fifteen years.

But will it be enough to deliver on one of the Prime Minister’s five pledges – cutting waiting lists?
