Risk of dying from Covid-19 higher for ethnic minorities

Here after a month of waiting – a new report by Public Health England has found that people of black and Asian origin are at a significantly higher risk of dying from Covid-19 than any other ethnic group.

The Health Secretary Matt Hancock said the pandemic had exposed “huge disparities in the health of our nation” – but critics say this has always been clear and what’s needed is action.
