RTE pay scandal: Ryan Tubridy appears before Ireland’s Public Accounts Committee

Ireland’s RTE has seen its highest paid star Ryan Tubridy appear before the Irish parliament’s public accounts committee.

Auditors discovered the presenter was paid €345,000 more by RTE than publicly declared, over a five year period.

He and his agent were quizzed over the undisclosed payments.
