Rubbish piles up in streets as Edinburgh bin workers go on strike over pay

Rubbish is piling up in the streets of Edinburgh where refuse workers are staging a strike over pay.

Bin and recycling collections have been suspended, while streets are going uncleaned and public litter bins aren’t being emptied.

All this as tourists pack the city for the festivals in Edinburgh.
