Rules on gay people donating blood should be ‘relaxed’ – US talk show host Andy Cohen

We’re joined from New York by Andy Cohen – the first openly gay late night talk show host in the US.

He was diagnosed with Covid-19 at the end of March, has since recovered, and could have antibodies to fight the disease.

He tried to donate blood to help others combating coronavirus but was stopped because of his sexuality.
