Rupert Murdoch’s Sky takeover bid to be reviewed

Rupert Murdoch’s plan for an eleven billion pound takeover of Sky is being sent to the regulators. The government said it wants advice on whether the deal is in the public interest. It’s the second time Mr Murdoch has tried to take control of Sky – but his last effort foundered after the phone-hacking scandal at the News of the World.
