Russia and North Korea sign mutual defence pact

Cathy Newman: Vladimir Putin has been paraded in front of clapping crowds in Pyongyang during his first visit to North Korea in 24 years.

The Russian and North Korean leaders signed a pact committing them to come to each others’ aid if attacked.

And Kim Jong Un also expressed “unconditional support” for Putin’s invasion of Ukraine.
