Russia fired experimental hypersonic ballistic missile on Ukraine says Putin

Vladimir Putin claims Russia has tested a new kind of hypersonic ballistic missile in an attack on the Ukrainian city of Dnipro.

In a suprise televised address, Mr Putin declared the Oreshnik was launched in response to Ukraine’s use of American and British missiles inside Russian territory earlier this week.

Putin also warned that Moscow had the right to strike countries which allow their weapons to be used.
