Russia launches massive drone and missile attack targeting Ukraine’s energy infrastructure

Explosions were heard across Ukraine overnight in a nationwide Russian missile and drone attack, targeting energy infrastructure throughout the country.

Several civilians were killed from Odesa and Mykolaiv in the south to the Lviv region in the west, while vast swathes of the country are under emergency blackout. And the Polish prime minister, in a reference to Germany’s Chancellor Scoltz, said it showed “no one will stop Putin with phone calls”.
