Russia Ukraine conflict: Kyiv under siege as troops close on capital

The Russia Ukraine conflict is continuing to escalate with Russian troops now closing in on the Ukrainian capital Kyiv. Vladimir Putin’s army is thought to have lost 450 personnel, according to the UK Defence Secretary, with Ukraine’s army also sustaining a number of casualties. The UN says at least 25 civilians have been killed.
