Russian hackers steal and share NHS patients’ private data

Matt Frei: The NHS has scrambled to set up a helpline after reports that Russian hackers stole records covering 300 million patient interactions.

The Qilin criminal gang caused widespread havoc across major London hospitals with their cyber attack on the blood testing company Synnovis, earlier this month.

Last night the group claimed it had released personal data about patients onto the dark web.
